Fat Straw Bubble Tea has over 20 flavors to choose from

     ROCHESTER, NEW YORK - 4/20/12 - Fat Straw Bubble Tea has added a new flavor, Grape, to its long list of 29 flavors. The Grape flavor was chosen after a week of debate among the workers.

Core Facts

1. Grape is the 30th flavor on Fat Straw's menu.
2. The new flavor can be mixed with any other flavor on the menu to create a customized flavor bubble tea drink.
3. The workers debated for a week to make the decision of adding Grape to the different flavors on Fat Straw's menu.
4. A regular size bubble tea drink is 16oz and 360 calories.

Company Information

Fat Straw is a small business that opened in November 2011 at the Global Market on Rochester Institute of Technology’s campus. The business is run and owned by Tony Syre and Heather Conolly. There are multiple locations of Fat Straw worldwide, but each separately owned. Syre and Conolly started the Fat Straw Rochester location because they each had a love for bubble tea in their daily lives. They opened up a café next to the Links at Black Creek Golfing Range. They started their bubble tea business formerly known as Tealicious. As former alumni at RIT, they decided to take their business on campus knowing that some RIT students were having the same bubble tea cravings as they were.
